Cherryl joined the Department in October 2006. She spent a number of years as a research scientist in the field of cell biology before moving into a variety of teaching posts with the University of Exeter and the Open University, covering the whole of biosciences. Having studied for a Masters degree in theology in this Department, she has now joined the staff as a post-doctoral researcher on the project led by Dr David Horrell, entitled ‘Uses of the Bible in Environmental Ethics’. Her particular role within the project is to focus on the background and uses of some of the Pauline texts.
