School of Humanities and Social Sciences has a dedicated Graduate School which is committed to supporting its vibrant postgraduate community.

The Graduate School helps to support both intellectual and social contact between graduates of different disciplines and from different backgrounds and countries. Graduate School support

We are here to support you in many ways including:

• support for postgraduate scholarship funding bids
  
• managing the School's postgraduate admissions and all queries from prospective students
  
• the administration of postgraduate students within the School
  
• organising events throughout the year including induction, social and careers events
  
• working with other services to support our postgraduates including the University Effective Researcher Development programme, the Careers Service, Postgraduate Administration Office and the Faculty Office
  
• providing funding and resources to support postgraduates in their academic studies
  
• dedicated support for International students via our Postgraduate International Student Support Officer
  
• managing dedicated postgraduate work spaces and research support funds
