Career development

We help our research students develop their skills to become effective researchers and prepare for employment. Support is offered both through the School and University-wide initiatives. 

We take a broad approach to skills development, helping you to assess your levels of ability and identify areas for improvement. Research training helps you develop the important research skills needed for your MPhil/PhD. We also offer teaching opportunities and a range of workshops and activities to help you develop your academic career or prepare for other employment.
